I bought one of the Barska high power scopes just to see how it worked. After all if you recomended it, I thought it was worth the risk. So far it has held up to my .300RUM, but I have only fired two dozen rounds so far. Will keep you informed in the future.
PS do, or did you recomend it for any particular caliber, that might recoil less than my varmint gun? If so, I can remount it on a heavy barrel DPMS LR.308 or a poodle shooter.
