Bushnel 800 or newcom 1200?

Which would you choose out of these two?? Natchez has the 800 on sale for 229 and the 1200 is 249 at midway. I have heard good and bad about both, which is really better and would range deer sized game the farthest?? natchez also has demo 800 for 199, would that be just as good as new?? I know the leica is better but it also cost more and this is going to gift from santa with a $250 cap.

Boy it's a shame you can't get Santa to kick in a little more scratch.

I just found a Leica 1200 scan for $416. Santa could really range Rudolph then.

I would sweet talk santa and go with the leica 1200. $416 thats a deal, I thought I found a great deal when I paid $436. Put up the few extra bucks you will not regret it.

I agree with the others, but in answer to your question, the Newcon is probably better at ranging. I have a Newcon 1500 that I picked up for $259 a year or so ago and it has performed much better than a Bushnell 800 side by side.
