The scope has the ballistic mil dot reticle and no scratches on the lenses. The reticle allows for easy holdover with most cartridges out to 700 yards. I've used the same reticle on my 22-250 out to 600 yards and on my 300 WSM to 700 with great results. I just need a scope that will let me dial past 600 for my 6.5 Creedmoor.
