Actually trying to figure out the best bullet for the damned .300 is proving taxing as well. Picking up some 180grn SST's and some 208grn A max's pretty soon. Can't find early 2000's dating info from Winchester either to figure out exactly what issues and specs the rifle is (it's an early 2000's shadow I think, got it from a friend but it's their budget model 70).
