Bullet puller

No sir not the threads on the body of the puller. The black ring that holds the body in place has a gold colored screw that tightens. I stripped that gold screw so I can't seem to lock the body in place
OK, get ya.
I replace all of those brass grub screws with steel ones! They are #10/32, 3/16" long grub screws. I place a #2 piece of lead shot under the screw, this protects the threads and I have never damaged the threads on any of my dies and as long as they are very firm, they rarely loosen on me.

It is easily rectified, I wouldn't throw it away because of a grub screw.
