.200 to .225 freebore is what you want

I'm sticking with the 175 elite hunter in mine. Currently using 58.5 R23 with ADG brass and Fed GM215M primers. Going to go up to 60.0 in .3 grain increments to see what it does.

Been shooting the 180s so well I almost hate to switch but going to give the 175s a go in my new 7 SAUM this week. They shot lights out in my 7 SS so I expect the same with this gun.

RL23 is one of my favorite powders. I've had fantastic accuracy and speed results with the VV 5 series powders also.......I just don't like what they do to my barrels. Even with that I just can't seem to give it up

Amen. I've got a 500 count of the 180 hybrids sitting unopened just gathering dust!!!

I have a couple of killer loads in my 7 SAUM,

1. 7 SAUM, 131 gr Hammer Hunter, H4831SC (62.2), Fed 215M, COAL 2.925 @ 3190 fps

2. 7 SAUM, 162 gr ELD-X , H4831SC (59.5 gr), Fed 215M, COAL 2.950 @ 2936 fps

Needless to say start low. Both shoot clover leaf groups.
