Bullberry legacy custom barrels

Hoback
Just south of Little California aka New Boulder
Jacksons Hole!
It is funny how excited I have been thinking about using the old Contender
Gotta fire form some new brass here when there isn't feet of snow and it warms up a bit!

Well…..Dec 15th will make 2 yrs since I ordered my barrel. NOBODY I know can get hold of Troy at Bullberry. Emails nor phone calls have worked.
I trusted the Bullberry name and paid in full for my 15" ss 22k hornet contender barrel.
It is not looking good. I may have LOST my money.

If anyone knows anything or anybody can find out anything please let me know.

Geesh 🙄

I just found a bit of info.

I wish you luck.
When I got my 6.5 Bullberry barrel I called Troy and inquired about a set of dies. He told me that it would take 2-3 years and I would have to pay up front. I passed and found the dies somewhere else.
It's a shame what's happening to this company.

This was in my email and I'm sure many of yours this morning, from Marty at HOA.

"First, several of you have reached out to us regarding Troy Swyers with Bulberry Legacy. We can tell you what we do know and don't want to speculate on what we don't. Troy's shop is no longer located in Hurricane, UT, where it was for many years under his ownership and the previous owners, Fred and Jean Smith. It is our understanding that he is working in a gun shop in another nearby town. We were told this by a customer but do not know it firsthand. This is unfortunate since there are so few barrel makers anymore. We do know his FFL is still active but shows the Hurricane premise address, and we have no way of contacting him".

Bullberry barrel works is no more, if Troy has rifles, pistols, barrels or any of your components your Screwed. Iy's been over 60 days so at this point we're looking at Internet site fraud, theft and failure to notify the BATF. You'll have to take legal action. I have talked to my Lawyer, started a action with my local police (Layton, Utah Police Case# L24-30711) BATF www.ATF.gov (‭+1 (801) 230-4880‬) still awaiting a case number, I'll call tomorrow and now the FBI, then State Attorney General's office! It's a new Year and mine as well start it of right. I also called Vudoo Gun Works and had the secretary give him a message. That's where he is working at the moment

Idk anything about law, but wonder about a class action suit with multiple people.
What the guy above has started will work. It has worked with multiple gunsmiths that have done the same thing. Atf is going to plow into him hard with an audit.

That audit normally turns up enough evidence to cause issues with local LE.

All of you should follow his lead and call with the case numbers he provided.
