Bull Elk 28 Nosler 177 Hammer Hunter

Congratulations to Bryan on a successful Bull Elk hunt. Using the 177gr Hammer Hunter Bullets out of a 28 Nosler the Elk was shot in the shoulder at 480 yards and dropped. The bullet went through first shoulder did not find an exit wound, nor recover the bullet.

I see the headlamp and understand fully why there wasn't a bullet recovery. Very shortly after that pic I am sure it became all business to get that bull broken down and manageable before the sun came back up!
