Wonder if it has longer throat for med or long action builds?

You can get longer or shorter throats in either short or long actions.

To determine minimum/maximum freebore you need to decide on the longest bullet you intent to shoot and how far off of the lands you want to seat them.

The bigger issue with short actions is you're limited by the length of the mag box unless you intend to single load them.

Retumbo best powder on heavy bullets 150-156 in long action. H4831 in anything lighter. H1000 and Re26 not as well. All shot extremely accurate by the way. Your weapon will tell u which it likes. Using Lapua SRP. Got all components before I started the build [15months] Proof SS Competition barrel. Twisted Precision did the rest. AWESOME
