Agree. I've always run 10s up to 230s in wsm,wm and rums. Didn't seem to hinder the performance, but I've never tried a 9.You dont need a 1-9 the 10 will be fine.
I've shot alot of 210-215 out of 10's and they've did great.
The majority of the guys shooting 300WSM in 1,000 BR are running 10's
