Budget Tikka 300wsm build

Decided to ream the throat and bit off a bit too much cause I was too lazy to use my stop. It worked out ok because I can seat a 215 in 3/4 of the way and touch the lands. Tested today to see what changes there were. Load was 210s with h4831 (66.5,67,67.5,68) f210s and seated at 3.225".

bottom left 2 shots were 67 and top right were 67.5. No pressure signs. Target was at 130yds and prone in the dirt. More to come

You dont need a 1-9 the 10 will be fine.
I've shot alot of 210-215 out of 10's and they've did great.
The majority of the guys shooting 300WSM in 1,000 BR are running 10's
Agree. I've always run 10s up to 230s in wsm,wm and rums. Didn't seem to hinder the performance, but I've never tried a 9.

Took it out today and shot some r26 with 210s. Liked the hotter charges but still seems slow.
68.4 2805fps
68.7 2821fps
69.0 2842fps
Was hoping for 2900+ but maybe it needs more rounds down it, or maybe it's just slow. Definitely likes 4831sc the best for accuracy

300yds. 3-5mph wind from 270. Stickers are 2". Definitely nothing spectacular. No pressure signs up to 69. Might try higher and see if accuracy can match 4831. Last 3 shot bottom right were one of each(68.4,68.7,69) and I put on the MS. That's why the group is so much higher.
