Bruno’s has H1000

Yep Varget and H1000 show out of stock now.. Goes fast, that's why they can charge the price I guess.. Keep checking as I notice after they go and check orders and inventory they sometimes put more up..

The Bruno's email was sent at 4:53 PM they close at 5:00. The email says local pickup and shipping. Guess they are taking care of the locals which saves them the packaging and shipping hassle. They are very short handed, I was told yesterday the recent powders were acquired from non-usual sources so the cost was higher. No primers visible, nothing at all to reload .223 and just a few boxes of Berry's pistol bullets.

Well we all know election time and this happens.. powder, primers, brass, bullets, ARs' this happens.. As much as I hate to say it, it's business and hell if someone offered me stupid money for what I have I might take it if I knew I had enough to take care of mineand my family's future..

I was in there yesterday around noon. He had a table full of powder, including 6 one pounders of H1000. I thought about buying some, but at $45 a pound I decided to pass. I bought some IMR 8133 instead at $220 for 8 pounds. A customer came in and bought three of the H1000 bottles while I was there. My 8133 powder came out of the back room, so not sure what else was there. He also had a full assortment of Federal primers (sm & lg pistol; sm lg & mag rifle).

Wow! Crazy prices. I snagged a 5lb RL19 today for $123.00. They had some WLRM but no 215's.
Little's Hardware, Charlotte.

I most always have a powder around that isn't my first choice for a number of rifles but it ll work when this craziness and price gouging ( pretty much every 4 years or sooner now days) occurs. I also try to support the wholesalers and retailers ( both local and internet) that aren't as prone to hose you first.

Powder in reserve right now is IMR4831.... works from 22-250 AI to 300 WM for me.

Hope things settle down after the election and the 'right guy' is in office; not the gun grabbing liberals!
Good Luck on your powder/primer searches and here's to getting back some stability! 🍺

Jason said he got it from Hodgdon and that their mark-up to him was what made the price so high. I think he is more afraid of what's happening than we are. For most of us, shooting is an "elastic" demand item. If prices go up too much, then people start shooting less - lots less in some cases. The higher prices are not enough to offset the slack in demand/sales, so overall profit goes down, while rent, utilities, labor stay the same.
