No. I've shot everything from 85 hammers to 156 bergers in my 1-7 6.5 CM with excellent results.

Ive got the same rifle but in a max long range dosnt like lite loads but its absolutely stunning with 140-147 loads will group under and inch at 200 with hornady 147 eld match and S&B 142 HP BT factory loads, we have shot wallibies with it out to 1250 yards, awesome rifle. We only use brownings nothing else never had a bad one
