Cousin has one and asked me to do some load workup.
Anyone here play with one yet and have any luck?
I know I'll be limited to mag length so was thinking of going with the 170ish eldx bullet and r33 for powder?
Open to all suggestions. Thanks guys

I have one in the McMillan long range, it likes the 180 eld and 86.0 grains of rl33. Loaded to .040 off, which is 3.56 I believe, 3185 fps.

We have done very well loading our 155g Hammer Hunter in the 28 Nosler. We are using RL-26 and getting a comfortable 3445fps. I believe the Browning has an 8" twist in it now. If this one does it would be able to handle our 177g Hammer Hunter. Although unless you are intending to hunt beyond 1000y it will not catch up with the 155g at 3450fps.

Good luck,

Steve

This is shooting the 195s, I put a McMillan stock on now and the group shrank even less.
