Just waiting for Kirby to ship me my .300 RUM. In the mean time I am getting ready to break in the barrel. Does it matter what type bullets are used during the breaking in process. I assume you would want to use a longer bullet to get the most contact with the barrel. What type should I use? Or does it really makes a differece? Otherwise I'll most likely use the most cost efficient (aka - cheapest) off the shelf shell I can find. Since I don't reload at this time I am forced to use off the shelf shells. Thanks.
