What was true for the Soviet Union is true in America today.

The orwellian propaganda of the msm is designed to direct your thinking toward a particular conclusion in order to mold your opinions. It's not to simply give you an unbiased look at what is going on in the world.

What the hell is the public (National TV) news for Rich? This is the only thing the public has to go on. If you can't believe what they say, when will a person ever be able to believe anything, You only believe want you want to and how can you tell who is telling the truth? I should have said that the news is reporting that his ratings are going down. People have got to make up their own minds about what is true and what is not. So the short answer is that a person must be absolutely grounded in factual history; they must have an unshakable moral compass, and a knowledge of how the rest of the world works.

That way when they try to sling the propaganda BS, you'll pick up on things that just don't sound right, and look into it more deeply.

Agreed: Just making the point that not all of the news is fake, some can be assumed fake, but unless you see something or have seen something contrary to what is being broadcast what is being broadcast could possibly be true. Also there are many people with busy schedules that don't have as much time to watch the different news channels and take what they do get to see as fact. I still have to say that between the different news stations I believe FOX above the rest. I have been watching them for years and they also have shown in many cases that what the other major networks say are lies that Trump has told are in fact true, and Fox's claims to that nature have been confirmed in the news papers and that is good enough for me and that settles it period. Others can believe what they want.

The old saying...If it sounds too good to be true, it probably isn't. I think it translates over to this. If it sounds like it could not be true, it probably isn't. Trust your life experience and good judgement.

I can't watch the others myself, knowing how they have been proven to lie. And that morning Joe guy I can't stand to even look at him. Good luck hunting and shooting in 2018.

You seem to not be able to think for yourself and depend on others to tell you what to think. Like I posted: Don't believe any Democrat or any Elite Republican. Don't believe anything the "main stream media" tells you and you will be better off.
