So as we are waiting for James and the crew to make another video, I thought I would pass along some of my real world findings. I just cut down my 260 from....
22.1875" to 16.375" = 5.8125"
Velocities went from...
2814fps to 2650fps = 164fps loss or 28.23fps/inch

I cut my Krieger 6x47 Lapua barrel from 25" to 18" for suppressor use, using H-4350 and 108 ELD-M's, and it lost exactly 200 FPS.....
