Bit of rifle porn

Thanks for posting these pictures. Very inspiring! Do you mind me asking which model of stock is on this rifle?

Joe0121,

All of my rifles come with the option to use a Manner carbon fiber shell design or the McMillan Edge style stocks which are also made with a carbon fiber shell.

Its a common misbelief that a lightweight rifle will have much more felt recoil. In reality, with a quality muzzle brake, this is not the case at all. In fact, the lighter the rifle the more effective the muzzle brake is at reducing recoil velocity so felt recoil is actually reduced even more compared to a heavier rifle.

What a lighter weight rifle will do is make the rifle more difficult to shoot accurately at long range. Does not make the rifle less accurate, just harder for the shooter to shoot accurately because we will negatively effect a lighter rifle then a heavier rifle.

Its always a compromise when cutting rifle weight but generally only in shootability and not in the rifle systems actual accuracy potential.

I am considering doing a web site but I am still concerned about backlog management. Right now its WAY over a full time job just trying to maintain my current back log and worry that if I get a web site it will increase my waiting times dramatically.

With the demand for an APS web site, I may have to consider doing it anyway and just see what happens. I am sure it will not reduce my work load which is not a bad thing at all but I just do not want my customers waiting for 2 years for a rifle which I was up to at one point and still have a few very old project I am trying to finish up at this age. That is alot to ask a customer to wait for for any rifle.
