Bipod 101 assistance

it's all metal / alloy construction. No twist to lock . Very durable. I've used mine a lot off of the bench and prone shooting out to 900. I've used it on everything from a .223 to my .300 win mag.

I read a review on them and it sparked my curiosity based upon the the options and price. I searched out numerous forums and found great reviews. I thought if it wasn't as good as expected, I'd throw it on a rimfire for the grandkids...Like many others, I won't buy another Harris as long as these are available. I've read the owner of the company is an engineer and an avid shooter who appears to have taken the best of all of the various manufacturers and put it in one package. There is a better description in the link below.

I'm not associated with the company in any manner , but I wish I was.

NoFences, thanks for the quick reply, and the link. Most definitely going to look into this tonight. If you don't mind, a couple of questions, and a little more of my current situation-
Not trying to write my biography or anything silly like that, but I think with this feedback, you all will help me make a better investment towards my 110BA.
So, I just recently had my 4th back surgery, and this one took the cake at a 5 level fusion T-9 to L1. I'm 3 months post surgery this week. Also, before all that, I've had 3 knee surgeries( quadriceps tore off of kneecap!) and back in 1997 a neck fusion. Gotta say, 32 years as a sheet metal worker has taken its toll. So, with all that said, my goals in firearm ownership has changed. I don't think I'll be able to maneuver out in the woods anymore elk or deer hunting. So, in trying to stay involved in a sport you and I all love, I've decided to keep the sport going, but on the bench, target shooting, and occasionally out in a prone position, for when I find a spot to try my hand at long range. I may even try some predator hunting, as that doesn't look too strenuous on the bod. (Not with the 110BA, LOL!)
All this, leads up to bipod height. For Bench and the occasional Prone shooting only, with the 110BA, should I stick with the smaller height increments bipod(6-9") or use the mid height model? I've never used a bipod, ever, and would hate to invest in the wrong one.
Thanks, and I apologize for being long winded.

For Bench and the occasional prone, I like the 6-9" but it comes downs to shooter size and comfort. Plus some other variables like mag length, grass height, etc...

Magazine length, Grass Height...wow! Would've never thought of that. That 110 has a hand grip on it, as everyone knows. I'll have to measure that, and we if it'll clear up. Yup, I'm learnin', all right!
Really excited to get back into it. I've set aside shooting, hunting and reloading for about 5 years if not more. What's sad, is I've got to "review" on using my reloading equipment. Take that back, not so much use of the equipment, but it's the series of steps from a shot round, to seating in a bullet. Thank goodness for note taking!

Thanks for all the help, fellas. I'll be posting on here for sure now, let you all know of any progress. Hopefully, over time, I can turn around and help others out as I gain experience.

This is a great site

Does that tip top have notched legs? I got my last, the one on the way Harris off the prize table for R O' ing a PRS match. It's coming from Euro Optics
