Well it was just a matter of time before it happened to me and it did today on this site. I purchased a scope paid with PayPal F&F ( yes yes I know ) I looked at the sellers name and saw he was a contributor to this site so no worries. What was strange was the *** text me after I made an offer on the scope. As it turns out the scammer somehow read my post got about a ML I was selling and got my cell number and scammed me out of over a hundred dollars. The actual seller of the scope was completely in the dark and did nothing wrong. So please guys be very careful buying or selling.

Please put up the name on the PayPal acct. So others are aware it's a scammer. There is another post that did the same and it got two different members already with the same scam and PayPal acct. Thanks
That's the same # that was used on two other members one was to a Rachel Burnell under the same phone #.
Maybe a quick post to watch out for PayPal transactions with that phone # will help stop the scam for awhile.

I would ommit or redact your address and any other sensitive info in that photo, Park.
Never post up name, address or even phone number. Its a gift that keeps on giving.
No +feedback on here, no friends and family. Also an offline discussion via phone is also recommended before you commit to a large purchase.

I did a search on LRH of my phone number to find where I've posted it over the years and deleted it from every place I could find it. Definitely something I'll avoid putting anywhere public other than in PM's.
