6 creedm**r has my attention if I ever get around to building or buying a 6mm. Seems really similar to 6xc and 243. Less brass prep than a 6xc and better suited to a short action with heavy bullets than the 243.
6mm Creed. My current load is: Starline 6mm CM LRP, CCI-BR2, 44.1gn H4831sc, 110SMK, 3273fps.
Got some 90gn TGK for testing with SW Precision, H4831sc, StaBall.
A 105 at 3200 in a 6CM has to be over 65kNot necessarily the 110 has a short bearing surface and go as fast as most 105s in my rifles. That's a great powder choice in it also. Just might be a screaming fast barrel.

Nope, nice and easy extraction, no expanded primer pockets, on the 3rd firing. Was shooting yesterday at 1000yds to check ballistics again and after what I thought was a normalized barrel, after over 300 rounds, sped up to this avg velocity?! Don't really like it at that velocity, because I don't need that much, here in CO DAlt, which is usually in the 8000' range, on the eastern plains. As barrel life goes, XCaliber will make me as many as I want to purchase.uh that has to be 75k at least...
Holy smokes that is screaming. I can't get that out of my 29 inch barrel unless I use rl26.
