I've been a competitive rifle shooter for nearly 30 years. In that time I found that good triggers are key to good accuracy & accuracy is necessary to ethical hunting. So being new to crossbows I'm looking for information and knowledge about the best trigger in available crossbows.please, thanks & God bless.

I have only shot a few different brands, I have not found any to compare to a good rifle trigger, they compare more to shotgun triggers in my opinion, lots of creep slop grit and four pounds of pull.
I shoot a Barnett currently, which isn't a Bad trigger but its no 8 oz jewell!
My best accuracy has been accomplished by focusing on form with a lot of emphasis on follow through. I think consistency is Key I have found Bi pods grip pressure and shoulder pressure to change point of impact and group size past 70 yards, so I practice as close to hunting conditions as possible.

TriggerTech makes a trigger for excalibers... that might be it.

I know my wife's crossbow trigger is just horrendous. I'd imagine it's about. 25 lb 10 stage plus a little sand.

You would think with the new crossbows running $1200-$1500 someone would make something with a decent trigger. No reason for a crossbow to habe a gritty 10# trigger pull. Even bow releases are light pull weights and clean. Thank you for the response and information.

What crossbow are you shooting? The trigger on the Mission Sub 1 is pretty nice.

That bow coupled with the HHA crossbow mount and the Huskemaw crossbow scope should be a great combo. Raven will come up with the new 25 or 30 and mess all my stuff up only to save another year. Haha

The Mission Sub 1 has a Match Grade fully contained 2 stage rolling sear set at a crisp 3.4 lbs from the factory!

I just purchased this crossbow about a month ago and don't want to disappoint, but the trigger is NO match grade in my opinion. Everything else is very well designed and made. Really like it.

I'm looking to start with something good. I have a number of benchrest rifles so I know the value of a good trigger. I'm having trouble believing you need to spend 3k on a crossbow, a new scope mount and a huskemaw scope to get a decent trigger and effective scope, but if that is what it takes... Thanks for your thoughts, I appreciate your time.

The Huskemaw crossbow scope is pretty affordable. Go to a sport center and shoot different brands. You will never get a rifle-like trigger. If you do, le5 us know. I have a quad 400 Barnnet. It will group and it's a cheapy

Ok, this is what we are suppose to do here is share information. I shoot a Stryker 380 with a " kill switch " 3.5# with .015 pull. sweet. best trigger I've squeezed. if you have a 10# trigger crossbow , please let us Know so we do not purchase this crossbow. They will put better triggers , if we do not purchase. please post bad triggers CB's by name>......Thank you, JW
