CTaylor, Good question. I don't shoot a 7 mag. I shoot a 300 Win mag. What has worked well for me is a good reloading manual, a few different powders and bullet types, and lot's of bench time. I have asked the same question that you are asking, and there doesn't seem to be any excellent "Hit the nail on the Head" answers. Simply put, some like it hot, some not so hot. My 300 likes 168 AMax's as hot as I can tolerate, not exceeding recommendations of course. Anything lighter than 168's and it's a guessing game with reduced charges and lot's of bench time. If you haven't done so already, start shooting that fire breathing dragon gun)and and find out what it likes best. I'm interested in hearing what what the 111 LRH can produce.
