Best hunting scope 14 - 16x $200-$300?

I need a scope for my muzzleloader in the 14-16x max range...what do you recommend.

Would the vortex crossfire work good?

Do you really want a high mag variable for a muzzleloader? I would be surprised if you shoot more than 200yds. If not, a 3-9 is plenty. There are a lot of good one in your price range. Nikon has the BDC for smokpoles that should work fine.
