Best glass nightforce or sightron

Price difference between the SIII illuminated MOA 10-50 and a NSX 12-42 is almost $700 that is a big difference for me.
I understand that point. However, the durability preference we both have for NF would cause me to think really long and hard before being okay with choosing the cheaper option. I would also take into account the size of the cartridge underneath as well and if its on the magnum side then I would be saving for a NF.

NF does have some extra features too for the price.

If the sightron sIII 6-24 came with an illuminated reticle, I would go that option and buy two alike. Since they are not illuminated and the nightforce is, I am thinking hard about the nightforce.

they are both great options. I just picked up a 10-50MOA illuminated and I am thrilled with it. while I like the NF I just can't see spending $700 more for the extra duability. I baby my stuff.
