what do you consider a good caliber and cartridge for long range antelope hunting out west?7mm or 30 caliber?or the 264 cases?

They are all good. For antelope, at long range, the biggest factor is without doubt the wind, especially in Wyoming. So the largest caliber and heaviest bullet, with best BC you can handle is best.
As others noted, you cannot go wrong with any of them, it boils down to personal preference. My personal preference and go to chambering is the .300 Win Mag from antelope to elk size game.
Here are some antelope harvested with the .300 Win Mag ...

+1! It's the same thing here in Montana ...
6.5 grendel 5-600 yards
6.5 creedmoor 8-900 yards

Same here, my buddies used to say I was way over gunned but the last six antelope I have shot were with a .300 WM 180 grain barnes TTSX. No damaged meat and they were dead when I got to them. Not to mention that there is something about using the same rifle for almosy everything.
I shoot 2 to 3 a year and hunt them all with 300 winny and 215 Berger. Klilled a buck this year at 647 and a doe at 724. I agree with Barrelnut.what do you consider a good caliber and cartridge for long range antelope hunting out west?7mm or 30 caliber?or the 264 cases?
