Best 30-06 Elk Bullets?

Looking for advice on the best 30-06 elk bullets available. I'm not a reloader, but have 180-gr. AccuBond and Grand Slams in stock.

P.S. I normally short an inch behind the shoulder, but just in case - will the above two bullets penetrate an elk's shoulder and get past the vitals?

180 Accubond.
Very accurate, High BC, and superb terminal ballistics, what more is there?
well... except the price...
If you're a hand loader, there are cheaper bullets out there, but IMO the the Accubond is the closest thing to the "magic do everything" bullet there is today, and the fact that so many factory loads are using them really says something.
