Thanks for the info MTBackwoods.i have found a load with h1000 at 0.040 off the lands that is shooting really good at 100 yards, just need to stretch it out and see if it holds together. With a 28" barrel I'm at 3094 fps without any signs of pressure.

What we're the particulars of your load that you came up with? I abandoned this load in favor of a different bullet and I'm going to start over with a different powder with the 205
