Probably a good choice. The 180 hybrid has been proved on game a lot better than the 190 long range hybrid target that I posted available in the link.

I shot a small mule deer buck at 290 yards, right behind the shoulder, with a 180vldh @3120 and it dang near cut the dude in half. You could've thrown a pigskin through the entrance and exit. I think it's an outstanding bullet and has been easy for me to get grouping well at distance in 28 noslers. But a little destructive for me.
