Bergara Premier scope base doesn´t fit

I just bought a Bergara Premiere Mountain 2.0 in 6.5 PRC. Bergara was out of scope bases, so I bought one from Talley. As you can see in the pics, it doesnt fit. The holes don't match. I just ordered another one for a 700 Rem Short Action, but haven't gotten it yet. Any idea why this Talley base doesn't fit?

Yes Hunter, I did, and I have them. It's the holes that don't line up.

If the Remington and Bergara bases don't fit it sounds like it was drilled out wrong. Which seems unlikely.

A friend told me that the pre 2018 Bergaras has the holes drilled ina different position. Mine being 2019/20, apparently the holes are not exactly in the same place. So, just maybe, the base I got was for a pre 2018. Sounds like it could be

I have the 2020 Premier Highlander and I put a Seekins Rail it on mine it matched perfectly. That was on a .300 WM. Ed you have the next rifle I want so if you are not happy let me know! Haha

I just ordered that exact rifle in 6.5 PRC along with Talley LWs, hope I don't have issues when they arrive.
