Bdl bottom metal for my build?

Ok I'm building a 7mm mag and have a Mesa arms stock ordered with bdl hinge floor plate. What bottom metal should I get? I was told the ptg stuff was junk by a guy I know who just bought one last fall said it looked like a 6 year old machined it. It would also open under recoil. So what would be a good brand of bottom metal bdl style for a 700 action.

Hawkins BDL is good stuff, it will fit regular rem BDL inlet
