I've been looking at shotguns, something that can shoot 3". There are alot more "HD" shotguns with 18-20" barrels than "hunting" shotguns.

I understand that more barrel means more sight radius, but if I install a red dot, then it doesn't matter.

I'm looking to use for predator hunting, and possibly non-game bird hunting.

I like 24-26" for all around barrel length. It's the choke and load that matters most. With predators and turkey I get high quality loads.
