barrel cleaning ........................your way

I'm currently only cleaning for carbon. I use Boretech Carbon Cleaner.

I start with 3-5 wet patches through the barrel, then dry patch it out.

3-5 wet patches, then let it soak for 5-10 minutes.

20-30 passes with a nylon brush.

Wet patch until clear, followed by dry patching.

2-3 wet patches of Boretech oil.

With my new 6.5, I'm only shooting 5-8 rounds between cleanings. Currently at 82 rounds fired on the barrel. I do clean for copper, just not that often. Probably when I hit 100 rounds.
