Probably woulda just hit the bad guy in the nose or his cheek or took one of his ears off but, he would a still got the message to his brain that , the Boys were done listening to his BS.
I have great respect for members of SWAT and other first responders. This was a very risky situation that required a tough decision to save a life. The sad part will probably be the ACLU suing the police department for excessive force.
Criminal justice needs an overhaul in our country. Build more prisons and put emphasis on making criminals pay dearly for their lawlessness including lethal force when required.

Here's my take on this situation. There's always some people who are unhappy with the out come of every situation no matter the circumstances. The team didn't sit on their hands like some did in "other" situations we have all heard about in the news! They got it done!!!! When it needed to be done! Tribb
We used otm's when shooting through glass, especially windshields to minimize deflection.
