I can see iron sights on a rifle through my current prescription pretty well, handguns and scopes not so much. My eye doctor is a shooter and adjusted my prescription so I could use open sighted rifles but for other shooting it's a compromise. I enjoy shooting open sighted rifles when the light is good so I'm happy with the way things are for now.
