If your Sendero shoots good, leave it alone. If you want to squeeze a little more accuracy/consistency out of it skim bed. It is easy to do. All you are trying to do is fill voids and give it an even torque free bed. Very little material is needed. I use either Brownells Steelbed or Devcon 10110. I have skimmed all of my stocks with bedding blocks and none of them have flaked or come apart. I do lightly rough up the area getting the bedding material to help adhesion.I'm interested in why you say to skim bed. I know some others say the same thing and some say just bed the recoil lug. I'm heistant about skim bedding my Sendero HS stocks because I've read it might flake up? What product do you use to skim bed yours?
