Auto Dandy trickler

Looks like I've gotten the controller working with the TRX. Now to update the manual.

Very interesting!! Was not aware of the TRX scale, I've used a Dandy for many years, and would definitely be interested in this set up!! Very cool!

I have 2 left of the current revision then I have to have more communication & control boards made after I make some modifications. I need to update the manual after which I can send by email to those interested.
What would you like to know?

Looks like I've sold my 2 remaining controllers. I need to make a modification to one of the boards (attached) and have another batch made.

So would this work kind of like the ingenuity trickler?as in you just type in the charge throw it separately and trickle up? Does it keep trickling everytime you put the pan back in the scale and it settles? But it's vibratory instead of the disks?

I'm familiar with just the name - Ingenuity Trickler but don't know its specifics. It works with the Dandy but I imagine it could work with any trickler with a 3 volt DC motor depending on its current requirement.
It will start trickling after replacing the pan after a programmable delay from 2 to 8 seconds if the weight is between 0 and the target weight. Another option is you can select an amount from 1 to 9 grains short of target weight where it won't start trickling unless the weight exceeds that amount. In other words, if the target weight is 30 grains and you select 2 then it won't start trickling unless the weight is greater than 28 grains. Two uses I know of - replace empty pan, check zero or tare, remove pan dump charge and place on scale. The other purpose - if the powder dispenser is mounted on the top of the draft shield placing an empty pan won't cause trickling until after you dump the charge.

So your controller with the dandy won't trickle till it sees the charge weight dropped short by a preset number in your electronics, then will trickle up to a set charge weight input into your controller. So your controller is communicating with the scale back and forth to get the correct charge weight.

Controller receives data from the scale and adjusts flow according to the settings you select.
It will trickle if the weight is anywhere from 0 to target weight OR from 1 to 9 grains short of target to target. You select.
If you want to do this by phone rather than keyboard, I'm open.
