ATACR really performing.

I was dry firing my rifle for practice today at my kitchen table. Looking through my double pain sliding glass door at the horses behind my house. Not sure how far away the horses were my guess is somewhere around 2500 yards. The scope is my ATACR set on 25x

.... And this happened. Now I know the true definition of 'hung like a horse' !

Do the calculation and figure out the range, is it a Mil or MOA reticle? Those are calibrated at 25x correct?

Looks like it's about a mile... shorter than the 2500 I guessed yesterday.

It's the MOAR reticle, the spacing is 1 MOA. So the horse that's broadside is a touch over 5 MOA in length, and a quick google search said a horse is about 7.5 feet from rump to nose... so that works out to about 1700 yards in the pic.
