Atacr 5x25 issue?

I zoom out to 5x and the view through the scope ovals. Then there is a part at the top of the scope that goes black, there is no issue at 9x. This this normal?

In the process of purchasing mine couple years ago, my dealer said they got a bad batch of parts specific to the MOAR scope (this from my dealer, NOT nightforce). Possibly, you might have end up purchasing one of those one with the bad parts.

I will call Monday see what they say
