The system created by a third party was working well. What I heard was a massive bond was instituted and required by AZGFD or state law to cover the funds submitted by applicants. Since the IT company could not post that bond, they could not do business with AZGFD. Now AZGFD are left with manually going thru the draw. I don't know if the state or AZGFD was responsible, but something has to change. Heads should roll somewhere. What a mess...
As long as we get drawn we'll forgive them this time LOL.

Up until that bond requirement, it was fine. Info came from reliable sources, so for what it's worth. Regardless, a mess.

Nope, nothing yet.
I don't think you will see anything for SOME time. They're are going through every application manually to verify all the info. See below a response from AZGFD. All 120,000 of them.
Dang. They'll finish the draw along with the Deer draw in May

Manual Draw- That could really work out in someones favor if they knew the right person. But I'm sure nobody would dare go there. I mean look at the election for president of the U.S. ..everyone was on the up n up....wasn't any fraud there.

Just got a email from AZGFD. We won't know what you've drawn until you receive your tag in the mail is how I'm reading it. Your credit card will get charged but what hunt, unit, etc..... will not be known until you receive the tag. Man they screwed this up royally.

Wow, they really screwed the pooch on this one!! Sure makes things a little more interesting for those like myself that apply in most western states.

Yeah I got the email. As long as my card takes a hit by the AZGFD I'll be good. It is what it is.
