Are Remy's overrated

stiller's are good. the trued remington will get you easily to 1/2 minute or less depending on the other things: scope, trigger, stock , loading. i have a winchester model 70 stealth i would like get rid of . my gunsmith will not work on them. roninflag

For the rugers you have to get a stock with a full aluminum bedding block and then they will shoot lights out. I have a .308 in a Hogue full alum. stock that shoots 1/4 moa consistently with 190 bergers.

I did get out to shoot today, but only got another 6 rounds fired (10-15 min between rounds for barrel cleaning, for break in process) before I was rained/sleeted out. Still not at max but close and the recoil was very managable with the slip on pad. I could shoot all day long with it.

Ronin, What cartridge is your Stealth chambered in?

O I already have one in 22-250. Was hoping yours was a 243 or 308. Mine shoots pretty good with Hornady 55gr v-maxes over Varget.

RDM- My plan was to rebarrel to 6.5-284 or 308 for f class. since my gunsmith won't work on them. rather that find another gunsmith i am selling it and getting a remington. ron

ugh, if this thread is still around then i'll post in it. and yea i do think remmys are overrated. theres my opinion.
