Been lucky enough to hit shops in three states since February. Saw a box of Remington Core Lokt at Wal mart in Parker Az. Brother in law sent me pics of some in cour de lane (SP) Id. Closest I have come to anything new Remington.

Remington in coming back as Rem Arms.

Don't know how long ago. Been going there for 40+ years. Not only huge growth it has changed almost 180 degrees and they are flooding in like rats off a sinking ship.

I return to North Idaho once or twice a year. It is definitely not what it used to be.

Getting back on the thread topic - I saw a new Remington 700 in West Virginia recently. It wasn't a lefty so I just glanced at it. I should have looked more closely to see what the quality was like.

I saw the action only on the market. Not sure if it was Midway, Brownell. L and S action.

Local big box store has had a around 3 to 5 of them since last Octoberish. Both short and long actions. Brownells was advertising they had new 700 actions in stock
