I spend my money on equipment that is useful. How does a case gauge tell you anything useful?
I buy RCBS Precision Mics so I can ACTUALLY measure my brass/chamber headspace and KNOW a measurement I can trust.
Those gauges that attach to a calliper are great for comparing, but they do not tell you ACTUAL MEASUREMENTS.
I want to know actual numbers, not whether it is close and fits in a case gauge.
Of course, I measure my bodies with a blade micrometer, my necks with a ball mic and my bullets with a micrometer, but a calliper is fine for CBTO, COAL & case length, as .0005" is neither here nor there.
Cheers.
