AR 30 or NOT

Does anyone hee have any experience with the ar 30 in 338 lapua I am looking to purchase either it or the remington 700 police in same caliber. both of theese options will allow me enough money left to put a nightforce scope on it. i would appreciate any info

I have one and love it. I've made some long shots with it the last one I got on video and put it on here a doe at 1082 yards. It is not a lite rifle but if you let the bullet walk for you than you don't have to carry it as far.
