Has anyone had issues with APA rings? I ordered these last week and what I received is totally different. I ordered the trulock 34mm low rings, they came in the correct box, sealed and everything but the rings themselves can be had on Amazon for $12. Was just curious if this a normal thing for APA?
I am 99% sure these are the same exact rings I found on Amazon. All the measurements match up and it even has the tape on the inside.

That's what I was thinkin but the original APA seal/sticker hadn't been broken. Even the suppled wrench dosnt match the screws.
I wrote APA an email as well asking if they had a design change and their thoughts on the situation.

I think you should be emailing OpticsPlanet as well as they sold them to you.

I just searched Amazon and can't find these rings on the site. you order Trulock 34 or API ones, to many replies getting confused what rings you did get.?

I ordered the APA rings and got something different. I have emailed both APA and opticsplant. Hopefully we can get it resolved.
Received a reply back from APA already, they confirmed that they are not their rings. I'm on board with what was mentioned above, someone must of played a fast one on opticsplanet.

May be like the Chinese made leupold scopes. Looks just like one, gold ring, the works. Except that they are older looking models, and sell to $129.99
Never know what you will get sometimes. Even from well known vendors.

I'm thinking that APA had nothing to do with it. After a bad experience with their deliberately misleading page for a part that I needed I just don't buy ANYTHING from OpticsPlanet. They burnt me badly enough that I'll do without before I'll buy from them. Search here and other forums, you'll find stories like mine.
