Any bullet other than Nosler

If I could just find the .338 Accubond in 250 grain. I may disagree with their marketing strategy, but I don't own the company or even stocks in the company. The 250 grain .338 puts the first rounds in the same hole @ 100 yards consistently. When I find some on the shelf I will probably pay too much. In the mean time Hornady ELD-X will keep me content shooting at steel. Que sera sera.

Yeah, I do not see them in my neck of the woods either (only BTs and RDFs), but apparently, it was available somewhere in AK at that time.

I am done looking for Nosler Accubonds I really like the nosler but I'm ready to move on to something that is some what available at some point Loading for 6.5 prc and 7 mag 140-160 gr mainly deer hunting 500 600 yd max
There quite a few Norma bondstrike, 143 grain in 6.5mm over on gunbroker. $69 for a hundred round box. Also some 140 grain Speer impacts for $31 for 50 bullets. Either bullet is equal to or better than the nosler accubond, and a lot cheaper. Both are bonded bullets. I bought some of the Speer impacts, and loaded up 3 just to see what I could see. I shot a half inch group at a hundred with no load work-up. Just a random load. You might want to hustle over there before they're gone.

There is even a 100 rnd box of .308 180 grn Bondstrike if you are in need. Not cheap

Hornady interbond. A bit more sensitive to seating depth but performance on game has been excellent for me. Berger is another good option.
I bought 2 boxes of the .257 interbond for my 25-06. Wasted a whole box trying to find a load that would shoot 1" or less. Couldn't find a load, and the other box is sitting on my shelf where it's gonna stay. Wasted a lot of time, powder, and primers for naught. I'm so done with Hornady. Same with Hammers. They won't shoot for crap outta my 1-8 twist 25-06 Hart barrel.

That sold me!
I shoot mostly 30 caliber and Grafs has 190 gr in stock. I may have to order a couple of boxes to try.

Edit to say:Just ordered 2 boxes of Hornady 190 gr CX bullets from Grafs.
They had some 30 cal 165 gr Interbond bullets at 73.00 per box.Did not look to see if 50 count or 100 count. No 180 gr

Maybe ? https://www.midsouthshooterssupply....elite-hunter-hollow-point-boat-tail-100-count

For mid range shooting the grand slam is plenty good. I've picked up a few hundred 145's in 7mm lately. My kid's Tikka 7rem does well with them.
I hear ya there, I picked up 145 gr. Speer HC bullets about 25 years ago for my 7-08 and still have the majority of them 11 boxes and they were very deadly and accurate, Don't know why I switched to Nosler back then but glad I did because NOW. Can't find the Nosler that I want s. So now I'm shooting my Speers and Hornady bullets. And for my hunting of deer and pigs. They do just fine. For just pennies on the dollar. Compared to the Nosler price!!

Unfortunately there isn't another bullet out there that's as good as the Accubond. SST, ELD-X, ELD-M, Sierra GK, Bergers, Speer are all cup and core fragile bullets. The Accubonds are tough as nails. Scirocco II are on their level but equally hard to find. Those and the Interbond are the only bonded bullets that seem to compare to the Accubonds decent BC and controlled expansion. As mentioned for deer, hogs and bkack bear the cup and core do fine but for elk a guy is in a tough spot to fill this void Nosler has left. No Partition's or Accubonds available anywhere! California switched to unleaded so my choice was made for me. I went to Barnes and Hammers. But when I go out of State I always shoot lead. I have implemented a two bullet recipe for my rifles. I shoot copper out to 300 yds and switch to a long range bullet for 400 and beyond. Get the lead long range dialed in perfect and then try to find a close point of impact match with a copper bullet. I carry two magazines. One with copper and one with lead. Has worked out well for me.
between exceptional accuracy and terminal performance I'll be sticking with accubonds as long as I can find and afford them.

Never tried the 145 GS. Tried the 160 grain and they wouldn't cooperate. I have a box of 130 grain hot cor to try in my 7-08
My 7-08 Mtn rifle and M 7 shoot the 130's great. But shoot the 145's better. I have a bunch of GS and HC bullets and now am very happy I Hoarded these till now. I always thought the GS bullet groups were pretty good at 200 yds I'm shooting groups at around 1 1/4". Out of my Mtn rifle with plenty of cooling time between shots. " pencil " barrel. Always get pass through performance on them for the cost, and for the sole purpose of hunting. They work….
