AMP Annealer Setting for 300 RUM

Coyote, your singing to the choir brother. From my short time on this blog, I get the feeling that most realize the value of our equipment/components, and all the steps we take to make the best ammo we can.
The naysayers should be ignored.
Like Quiet Texan, I too wish there was an extra piece or two in each box of brass. I am as anal as the next person, and it bothered me for a long time when I had empty spots in my ammo box.. I finally wrapped my brain around the natural attrition during the life of brass. I switched to 100 count boxes, and cull any case that doesn't play well with the others. I lose 8-10 cases per box over the life of the brass. The result is more consistent ammo with lower ES, and predictable results.
P.S. I am AMP's #1 fan! Was lucky enough to get to do some testing for them when they came to the US. They are really good folks, focused on making the best possible product.

340, I'm with you. Drives me nuts to see empty slots in my ammo boxes.

I was sizing some 6BR Lapua brass yesterday that only had 5 firings on them and found 3 split necks...grrrrrr.

Went to bed thinking "now I'm short for the next pistol silo match!" A normal match is two strings of 40 rounds and I have 300 cases for this gun, but dern it I'm short now lol.

Regarding AMP, you are right, great people there, always very quick to respond
Extremely helpful, I recomend them all the time.

My AMP got delayed in shipping 😭 Won't get here until tomorrow now.

It'll probably sit in the box for a month or three, I just really want to get my hands on it so they can't take it back from me. My wife doesn't understand my excitement.

My wife said "I feel her pain!)

Lol

When my wife complains about another gun related purchase, I just remind her that I could be in a bar chasing women! That usually shuts her up.

I wish brass sellers would read this and sell us 52 and 104 cases, not 50 and 100. I'd pay the incremental increase for a few extra cases. Nuking one in an annealer, making a dummy round, etc, there's always a use for an extra couple cases while still leaving me an even 50 or 100.

Maybe the joke is on me because I buy an extra pack of 50 or 100 and discard some.
funny you mention that. my box of Lapua .308 came with one extra. not 100 but 101
