I needed a little help with measurements on the AMP #24 Pilot that is for the 300 RUM.
I will be ordering it in a couple days so this would help me a bunch.

I have other AMP Pilots that range within the 300 Rem Ultra Mag Category (ie: 300 WM (#29), 338 LM(#37), 7mm Rem Mag(#15))
I was wondering if I could use one of the pilots to get a few cases annealed and loaded for this weekends range trip.
As long as the measurement isnt ridiculously off. I could use a washer or spacer to get it close as possible.

Let me know what the measurement is from the top of the pilot to the start of the relief cut for the threads where it contacts the Annealer surface.
this will help me determine if any of the pilots I have will work for the next few days.
Any help would be appreciated and this is a temporary fix since my Norma brass did not come annealed.
Thank You.

OK Got the info I needed.
Used the #29 Pilot plus 2 washers with a total thickness of 15 thou (washers together) which was like 2 thou off the distance down the annealer. Got me spot on for now.
In case anyone else needed it as well.
