Found 2000 215M and 2500 BR2 today at 55 dollars a thousand I was passing through a small town and stopped at a little gun shop They also had varget h-4350 and some reloder powders they still had several bricks of winchester primers and remington I left those so I would not be a total hoarder

A friend of mine that lives in Salida Colorado called me today said he was talking to the owner of a gun shop out there somewhere and he told my friend he seen 8 lbs of varget sell for 1300 dollars I went a dug my sling shot out after hearing that. David

It got my swiss father in law, who was 84, but had battled cancer for several years, successfully until now. I think you have to add some demographics to the number as it is whooping those weak or old at a much higher rate, I am sure.
My other thought is that material sourcing for products is going to be a bigger problem now than 2008 but I think we'll be ok with less reliance on china in this area.

The "ammo shortage" is a disgrace. America has gone from WWII production capability (and that was with mostly women and elderly men) to 2020 production incapability.
America has ALLOWED the lead smelting factories to be ran out of business by the EPA radicals.
America has ALLOWED the raw materials to ONLY be manufactured overseas and shipped into the USA.
America has ALLOWED this all to happen.
This is what? The seventh "ammo shortage" in the last 15 years? What a bunch of garbage.
#2 There is no such thing as a "hoarder". There is prepared for what's on the horizon, and unprepared ignorance. Those who keep a 50 rd. box of pistol ammo in the safe, and think you are "good enough" are the ones with tears in your eyes in the ammo isle every time we have an election.

Food For Thought. IF I wanted to starve the gun owners of ammo/components for reloading. I would close the ports off with any excuse I could sell to the sheep. Cut off the supply train for a couple years, and it cannot possibly help the 2A crowd. At the least we train less. Or for the fools, shoot up all the ammo they have.

The survivability rate of Covid-19, is 99.97%. The fatalities are exclusively from pre-existing conditions complicated by the already weakened immune system. The elderly, by nature, have weakened immune systems and are the most susceptible of dying from Covid. Remember it's Covid 19 for a reason. There are 18 other Covid strains. It is the flu. A lab manipulated strain of the Flu. The numbers are being inflated by hospitals receiving money for each Covid patient the "treat". Combined with globalist influence into tyrannical politics. She has tested positive for Covid and contracted it from the Hospital she works in. We sat at the same table and ate our food. Then we had a couple drinks, I hugger her goodbye and went home. And guess what, Nobody died. She said it feels like a mild case of the flu.

If the paper masks, made in China, cannot protect you from a .4 micron smoke particulate, that is wildfire smoke. How then, do they protect you from the .14 micron biological particulate vapor that is Covid aerosols? The answer is, THEY DON'T!!!!! Unless you are wearing a rubber respirator, with the clip in cartridges that contain N95 Bio-vapor filters, combines with eye protection, and Haz-Mat decontamination protocols, nothing you are doing will stop or slow the virus spread.

The "mask mandate" is nothing more than a litmus test (shark bump) to see how large the herds of obedient sheep are. And more importantly how many resisters there will be. Hence the formation of "contact tracers" going around making lists of those who do not comply.

The mask tyranny/ lock downs will never go away, until you show the papers to prove you have taken their vaccine. Soon we will start seeing large corporations offering "free" vaccines to all employees. Followed shortly with mandatory vaccination prior to employment.

I just spoke with someone who is very knowledgeable about the ammo shortage. What he explained to me was quite worrisome, especially because I average a thousand rounds a month in various calibers. Fearful and new shooters have wiped out inventory.
The most difficult component to find will be primers and assembled cartridges. Cases are plentiful but quality projectiles are another matter for long range shooters. One factor he mentioned was the U.S. Military just placed a large order that is priority and there are some problems with the collapse of Remington.
I guess the situation with powder is the ports are closed so the raw product is not inbound. Once they are cleared too ship it takes 3 months to arrive.

They were diverting large orders of ammunition to Government agencies that did not carry firearms - like HUD and USPS, all to keep it out of the hands of the public. If you remember, his radical website was all about war against citizens. He still has the website, Google it. He was not fired at the time, but merely put on leave at full salary for several months. I spoke with management this week at an ammo manufacturer, and he said that lack of primers was a major problem. I look everyday at the websites of the big reloading websites and the only primers available are for .50BMG. I think that there is more at hand here, than merely a hoarders caused shortage of ammo and components. It makes sense, that someone or some agency's hand is on the Off and On switch.

I am in the process of loading up all the components that I already have. Rather than searching for dollar per round ammo.

Well it will go hot for some of us. But many are already asking permission to go outside, grocery shop, and take off their mask. I don't expect much resistance out of those sheep.

I can't see how hoarders are the problem either they are being rationed even if you can find them finding them is the problem then when there is a few they don't last long because of panic the same reason a certain president try's to down play the virus because he sees what panic can cause you can't carry enough bullets if things go south but I'll make sure I'll use the ones I have to the best of my ability because I don't hoard or panic David

Or the fact that Bacterial Pneumonia is causing many of the deaths and hospitalizations that are being categorized as covid. Contracted from untrained persons wearing a mask in a non sterile manner.
