Alternative powder to Re23 for 280ai

Due to the availability of re23(or lack thereof) Im looking to switch powders. I have always used this and 4831sc. What other powders are you guys using? My current hunting load is Re23 and Nosler AB 160's, But I'm also trying out Sierra Gamechangers in 168 and Berger vld hunting in 140 and 168. Id like to give Vihtavuori a try. Any input would be appreciated! feel free to share your favorite loads!

H4831sc or H1000. For me RL23 seems to be about in the middle of those burn rates. It seems to give a little more velocity though.

RL26 (another unicorn), H-1000 and N565 are all likely to work well.

I second H1000, it appears that you might even be able to run Retumbo in that cartridge with heavier bullets.
It's works awesome in my 25-06's.

I've used N560 in 7 SAUM with 160 AB and in 280AI with 168 ABLR.
Worked well with good velo and good accuracy.

565 is real close but IMO 560 is closer.

I bought a jug of N165 for this purpose, haven't had a chance to test it yet.

560 is rated VERY unstable.
I've shot n565 since 2017 in a 7ss and have seen nothing to indicate anything but great stability

I have seen very little temp sensitivity in N565 either, from about 25* prepping and on late elk hunts to 115*+ in the middle of the AZ summers. My load stays about where it should. Maybe 30fps swings over 90* as shown on a Labradar.

I have not shot much N560, because I have heard from various guys I trust it is pretty sensitive.

Just because it's double-based doesn't mean it can't be stable.

In my part of the country I have had No Issues with N-560 take that for what it's worth. N-560 has been Good for me as a alternative to Alliant Powder.
