I got a notification today that said that Alliant ReLoader 26 had been discontinued.
Has anyone else heard anything about this?

The Czech Group bought this in the package deal for Vista's weapons division Kenetic Group. Federal, Remington, CCI, Speer and Hevi-shot. This company is buying a lot of American outdoor companies. Once again the Committee on Foreign Investment for the US has sold us out to a foreign country. Just keep selling our weapons and components to foreign countries and we will be unable to defend ourselves.
The product has not been discontinued which is a more permenant term its been suspended. Lots of things on midway and brownells are "discontinued" that are still manufactured. Ukraine war and a massive shortage in EU of nitrocellulose. EU is the second largest manf of NC in the world second to China (really I guess that region of Asia to be exact)
Nitrocellulose needs nitric acid in its manf and the main substance in nitric acid and all nitrated compounds is synthezised from ammonia. Ammonia synthezised from natural gas. The main source of NG in northern EU where all EU NC is manf is sourced from Russian pipelines which the two largest (Nord Stream) were mysteriously blow by unknown parties (biden cough cough) devastating EU countries industrial manf such as Germany. As well as heavy sanctions on all Russian NG and other energy com. Many parts of the N.EU use to rely on Russia for from 30% to 100% of its natural gas needs. Czech Republic 100% from Russia. Germany almost 70% . Switzerland & Sweden get all there NG from countries that import mostly from Russia such as Germany. Finland almost 70%. So there is all your countries producing powders and nitrocellulose.
Compound all of this with the ground war in Ukraine and the arming up of all of N EU countries that have very good memories of the horrors of WWII and post war invasion take overs of now former eastern bloc and countires swallowed by the USSR formation. The economic supression and military insurgent like behavior by USSR with its north western border nordic nations under constant threat of invasion. Unlike us Americans that have attention spans of a fruit fly. Nor have we lived the horror of warfare on our home soil since the civil war and our countries birth. These countries lived this till just a short 33 yrs ago with the Soviet Union collapse. Prior to that the entire 20th century was war, death, and oppression for these parts of EU. No way these countries will allow that to happen again without serious fight. They are in turn stock piling muntions and supplies of war like not seen since WWII.
So there is your shortage along with the US allowing all but one of its commercial powder manf to disappear and become forgeign supplied as @softtail103 posted about one such large transfer. Shame on us .
